In the mid 1960s, The Who’s Pete Townshend smashed a guitar on stage and changed rock’n’roll forever. Since then, artists have been smashing guitars regularly.

So by using Sandvik’s heavy metal expertise we created the world’s first 3D printed, smash-proof guitar, and let the notorious guitar-smasher Yngwie Malmsteen put it to the test.
